What an amazing day! God’s presence was at Beth EL from beginning to end and continues on….
Country gospel music played in the background from 9.30 am and at 10.10 am Jerry greeted everyone and shared briefly how Beth EL started and thanked all those who made it possible. Eve then brought greetings from the all the elders and went through the website and read out what Beth EL is about and what God has placed on our hearts to do.
Jerry then invited Pastor Robert Judah Paul to pray and he declared that “Beth EL was where the Ark of the Covenant was kept and where God’s presence dwelt but it is no longer the physical Ark of the Covenant but the presence of God is the Ark of the Covenant. When people come here there will be healing – healing not only in the physical sense but healing in all senses – healing of brokenness coming together. So this is a place of healing.
You will hear the voice and you will get him saved. You will get him saved and add him to the kingdom of God. Whoever walks in there’ll be great things that are going to happen. Beth EL will be like Lebanon, a city of refuge, rivers will flow through her.”
Eve led in worship and Jerry shared a powerful word on the Four Foundational Truths that set us free.
Pastor Joseph Selva then closed in prayer –
Finally Jaden sang a song composed by Allan Perera which is to be our theme song “God has not given us a spirit of fear”.
Everyone stayed on for a meal and to fellowship from about 12 noon.
Pastor Alexander David John and Pastor Joseph Selva ministered to several people and many words of encouragement were shared till about 3.00 pm.
What an awesome beginning – we thank God for His work and His word.
